LORNA is about bringing neighbors together to improve the quality of this neighborhood and one way to do that is information sharing. On this page you will find helpful information on various topics such as disaster preparedness, how to keep your children safe, etc.
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has information on what actions to take before, during and after an emergency.
Safe Kids USA provides resources, ideas, tools, and other information to help parents and communities keep kids safe.
The National Center for Safe Routes to School focuses on getting kids to school and back safely and provides tips and tools for parents, schools, and communities. There’s no formal program sponsored yet for the LORNA area, but folks with a passion for keeping kids safe are encouraged to take the lead for LORNA!
