The mission of the Los Olivos–Riker Neighborhood Association (LORNA) is to preserve and enhance the safety and quality of life for residents and local businesses in the Los Olivos–Riker area.

The role of the association is to provide financial assistance for the Neighborhood Watch (LORNW) while aiding in communication, events, recognition, and advocacy for residents and businesses that exist within our geographical boundaries.

Both the watch and association cover businesses, homes, apartments, condominiums, churches, and assisted living facilities in the city limits of Salinas, California bound by Highway 68, Blanco Road, Luther Drive, and the fields.

Membership is open to all neighbors and donations are welcomed.  The LORNA steering committee manages the budget and financial reports are presented at each LORNA monthly meeting and once a year at the annual meeting.
